Project: Volkswagen's Glaserne Manufaktur, Dresden, Germany

Client: Volkswagen/BRC Imagination Arts

Scope: Contracted to design, fabricate and install all systems for Six, high-tech attractions within the Volkswagen Special Events Center, inside their new $400 Million Dollar Luxury Car (Phaeton) Factory.  Responsible for all interfaces and communications with General Contractor, Architects, VW Market Identity Group, VW Manufacturing and dozens of International subcontractors and installation personnel. Imagine That redesigned most existing systems and attractions in this $20-Million Dollar project, saving the client over $1.4 Million Dollars overall.  Attractions included "Vision World" (right), an 11-Meter diameter globe with custom fiber-optic  lighting systems  and finishes on the outside and a 270-degree interactive, digital theater on the inside.  Other attractions are the "Virtual Test Drive" - a six-axis, motion-base, simulator ride using an actual, modified Phaeton luxury car and "Virtual Production Tour" - a virtual "live" tour through the assembly line where visitors can watch Phaeton cars  being assembled by factory workers. Volkswagen recently opened the Center to the Public with excellent "rave" press reviews.

Imagine That would like to say a big "Thank you" to the "TEAM" (you know who you are...) for making this such a great project!
